Good value for money hotel ideal for families specially because of its pools, as well as is massive space in station 3. We had a convention here and the room we stayed in was clean, specially the comfort room. There are portions of the hotel that lessened its appeal due to lack of orderliness and maintenance (like AC fluids stuck in the balcony plant box that have built up stagnant water, or the glass elevator that requires cleaning of the construction debris visible to guests as you ride it). Will still consider staying here though because of their reasonable rates.
Paradise Garden Resort, thank you. I adore your hotel so much! I already felt the warm welcome of all employees!||I would like to thank Ms. Shy and Ms. Kath for assisting me all throughout my reservation. They are so accommodating, kind, …
The room was nice and very clean. The staff are courteous. The surrounding is perfect for relaxation with trees and plants everywhere. The pool was fair but okay.
From start they take more than 20 min to let me check in and they asking for 2000 php as security deposit which is not mentioned anywhere in the booking for them even the description
I was had no Philippines pesos so they take 100 dollars and give it to me back after the check out
During my stay i liked the pool and the place but i didn't like the in front desk as they are not helpful and not doing the things fast
Another issue was when i lost my keys for the room and then they asked me for 2500 pesos!!!!!
I was shocked as its equal 45 USD just for very normal ordinary key!!!! As per them this is very special and this is the hotel policy
After 2 days of verbal fight and after i spoke many times to so many stuff there they agreed to what i decided to not pay more than 1000 pesos
I have asked the other hotels around and the said its only 500 pesos as usual
In the end the place is good but the i front desk stuff need to understand and be more helpful with the guest
Warning! This hotel is a hazard and poorly maintained.
The shower door fell on my nephew, yet staff continues to smile and act like this is paradise.
Waited over 1 hour to check in and also for check out. They will check your room before allowing you to leave.
There are ants, geckos and mosquitoes in the room.
They want money for everything (bottled water, canned pop, covid safety kit, plug converter and more)
Terrible resort. Would not recommend.
Wish I could say I had a “quiet” time, but there are literally two establishments on the beach, bordering this property, and I hear loud rock music, heavy bass and drums, u til around 1am, every night. Even with my head in the pillow, I can ”feel” the bass, keeping me awake.
I asked one of the workers here about it, and he said many people complain, but there isn’t much the hotel can do about it.
So, as much as I like it here, if you want to sleep early, or are a light sleeper, you may want to avoid this place. I like to go to bed at 10am, get up at six, so having to stay up until 1am sucks for me, I get only 5hrs sleep here.
We were here for two weeks in Nov 2023, the first impression was very good.
Reception smart, grounds well cared for.
More benches for elderly or disabled would be good!
The pools are nicely placed and of a good size. They are NOT disabled accessible! There are NO handrails to access the water.
The beach is near, very full at times, of course.
The beach is NOT wheelchair accessible! There are crumbling steps in the way!
The rooms are large, if that is what you booked. Ours is 44m², with a nice balcony in the West Wing near the beach.
Tiled floors, modern. Good, firm beds. Good room service. Tipping is optional, suggested 50-100php/day.
The design bathroom shower keeps blocking due to a bad drain design. Hair can he removed, but the cleaners should really do it
Plenty of hot water.
Good, very quiet airco. Do not use with balcony door open...
The breakfast buffet is very good.
It is eaten in the sunset bar now, not in Tryst.
There is a selection of Asian foods, an egg station and the usual cereals, fruit, cakes and bread etc. Good coffee. Juices are sugared, though. The miso (?) soup can be enhanced with vegetables for a healthy alternative. Only 4/5 stars because there is no bacon!
Suggestion: A disabled persons' table near the buffet would be great, with limited service like coffee refills.
Room cleaning is fast, and good.
But: what is it with the blankets under the sheets? Are the blankets ever washed? Sorry, but it disgusted me. I removed the blanket, it is not needed. Just a sheet is warm enough.
Twice we had the evening buffet. At first it seems overpriced but it includes beer until 21:00. If you factor that in, and are thirsty, it is ok.
The food varies from amazing (Tepanyaki Liempo and Dory) to meh. The lechon is incredibly delicious.
It is worth it. Kids 5 and under eat free.
A lot of things are in the eye of the beholder. I will just give a tip - apparently you need a special orange wristband if you want to go in and out after 10pm. If you come in after that time without it, you may be held and questioned before being allowed to enter the grounds. This was my experience. I've never experienced this before. If there was a lot of thievery and crimes around there then I guess one can accept it. But I thought it was fairly safe. Maybe I'm wrong though and the strict security is required. Dunno. The pools are nice. But the rooms can be hit or miss or so I've read. My room had a leaky shower. So every day my floor was flooded. Bad design. They did cleaning of the grounds at 6 am big sounds of them sweeping the ground. It woke me up each day. Good luck.
